Singing Lessons

Singing has never been as popular as it is now thanks to the efforts of people such as Gareth Malone and the prevelance on television of programmes such as "X Factor" and "The Choir". As a result more and more people are considering taking singing lessons. If this is you and you have never sung a note in your life before then we would be delighted to hear from you and help you. Similarly, if you are an experienced singer already or a regular singer who would just like some formal tuition then we would be happy to teach you.

We teach singers of all ages and abilities whether you just want to learn for fun or as a hobby, to help with an upcoming performance or to work towards qualifications and exams in singing. Our teaching is sympathetic and friendly and is always with the aim of helping the learner to sing songs and repertoire that interests and engages them. We will help you persue the style of music you are interested in rather than foist one we like upon you.

We can offer you tuition in any or all of the following styles:

Pop / Contemporary

Music Theatre

Church Music

We have a large library of music covering all of the above genres and would therefore be able to provide you with ideas as to what to sing. However, if you have your own music, songs, CDs or backing tracks then you are most welcome to bring these along instead.

Children (from aged 6 upwards) and young adults are especially welcome with both our teachers highly experienced in the teaching of these age groups. We have a large amount of music that is ideal for and always popuiar with younger learners - songs from a number of popular and current shows, Glee, and contemporary artists.

If you wish to work towards an exam in singing, we can help prepare you for this and enter you when the time comes. We use the Associated Board, Trinity College London and the London College of Music examination boards for singing exams. We have previously entered successful candidates from the initial Grade One right up to Diploma level.

If your particular requirements are not covered by anything you read here, please do not hesitate to contact us and we would be happy to discuss your individual needs.
